Days, Months, and Seasons in Haitian Creole

It has been predicted that about 90 percent of the world’s languages will die out by the end of the 21st century. If this devastating cycle continues, perspectives, ideas, and ultimately entire civilizations will be lost. There is a way to preserve this important aspect of one’s heritage. As an educational consultant and author, I'm elated to be part of the solution to show you how!

Days, Months, and Seasons in Haitian Creole is a fundamental tool that will help families, educators, and communities cultivate the Haitian language. In this fun book, children will learn days of the week, months of the year, and the four seasons in both English and Haitian-Creole.

The colorful and attractive illustrations are guaranteed to keep adults and children engaged. It also includes the ordinal sequence of the days and months, which is an important mathematical concept students need to learn.

Additionally, I added a coloring book version to keep the little ones engaged and to strengthen their motor skills.

I strongly believe that a people without language is a people with an undermined identity and fractured culture. Days, Months, and Seasons in Haitian Creole creates a holistic approach to preserving the mother tongue of the Haitian people.
